This site is aimed to collect and present in a comfortable way the research activity and the services provided by the Bioinformatics Group at CEINGE, but also to be an entry point for more extensive documentation, and to provide access to the services.
The group is coordinated by G. Paolella and includes scientists with different background:
Research Activity includes genomic analysis and functional cell studies, as well as the development of tools for the storage and manipulation of biological data.
Bioinformatic Services are available at target: http://bioinfo.ceinge.unina.it. The portal provides access to a large set of services in the area of bioinformatics, which include public databases, programs and custom developed databases. These services are offered to the researchers at CEINGE, as well as to other research institutions and the scientific community.
IT Services are also provided by the people in the group, who take care of the many problems deriving from the support and maintenance of the internal data network at CEINGE.
