There are three levels of DNA servers: one master server (dns.ceinge.unina.it) two secondary ones (dns1 and dns2) and a number of 'local' DNS installed on each server.

Each server is configured to invoke two DNS servers. The first is the local DNS that has to be running on the same machine. The second is dns1 or dns2.

Typical server configuration for DNS:

  • 127.0.0.1
  • dns1 or dns2
